The problem is GM uses cheaper & cheaper internal parts because the share holders are more important and dividend payments to them matter way more than quality products

So what your saying is GM doesn’t want to fix the actual problems they just want to try different maintenance methods and hopefully the engine lasts until the warranty has run out.

My 4.3 calls for 5w30 and I use 20w50 😂 just put some 5w30

My buddy’s 2018 L87 owned since 2021 now at 108k miles has had 5w30 its entire life, healthy and reliable as any older GM

They haven’t recalled the 2019 engines yet. Mine has been sitting with a blown engine waiting. Blew in 2023.

They also updated the picoscope as well they process is a little different you no longer use NVJ to monitor engine vibration I actually already had 1 fail after the new update
