Natural Grocers run today and this one is a little different than my usual grocery hauls. This isn’t a “snacks for the week” situation. This is the stock-up run. It’s a long ways away from home and they carry plenty of options we don’t have in town, so it’s usually our annual haul here. Because we’re dairy free, good chocolate options are harder to find and usually more expensive, so I grab several at once. Between Lily’s, Unreal, and a few other things we needed, these will actually last a long time in our house and get used slowly for baking, homeschool projects, and the occasional late night piece when the day wins, plus a little magnesium to help the kids sleep. One guy in the aisle had his arms full of Hu bars and handed me one to try saying they were good. Sometimes the best reviews really do come straight from the aisle, so I grabbed one and we’ll see how it holds up against our known brands. Grabbed a few other staples too like pancake mix, sunflower seeds, spices, vegan butter, and a few odds and ends.
