Kids love love rewards. Whether it’s a little stickers, little fun things you could buy on Amazon a huge bag with tons of stuff. Rewards work positive reinforcement works negative reinforcement may work temporarily, but that’s it. Always have a treasure box in your classroom and use it consistently and fairly.

I am retired, but I keep picturing my fifth grade classroom. They would’ve absolutely loved these. They would have stuck them up their nose, stuck them in their ears, stuck them in other orifices. I picture emergency rooms, angry parents, choking siblings, incredible liability issues, a complete fucking nightmare.
