Interesting way to tie a drop shot. I put a surgeons loop knot at the end for the weight - come up 12” with a t knot for the hook and catch stuff like this.

The best way for a drop shot is use rubber bobber stops on both side of hook. Lets you adjust your lengths for over under as needed.
