@reddnea: explanation‼️ when you swipe out of an app, ios pauses it. it may stay in ram so it reopens faster, yes, that means it can take up *memory*. that does not mean it’s actively running or using extra power. ram is short-term memory, not a sign that the app is doing work! ‼️if the phone needs that memory, ios clears paused apps automatically‼️ real background activity only happens for specific things you’ve allowed in settings. force-closing everything doesn’t change permissions and usually doesn’t help battery life. reopening a fully closed app actually takes more work than resuming a paused one! tldr; app switcher = paused & maybe cached in ram force close = fully quit swipe apps away when one is glitching, not every time you leave it! #iphone #iphonetips #iphonetipsandtricks
