Ingredients Beef & Marinade • 300 g beef, thinly sliced (flank or skirt steak) • 2 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tsp oyster sauce • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced Salad • 1 long English cucumber • 1 red or yellow bell pepper • 1/2 red onion • 1 bunch cilantro (coriander), chopped • 1 bunch green onions (scallions), sliced • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced Seasoning & Finish • 2 tbsp soy sauce • 1/4 cup avocado oil or vegetable oil • Salt, to taste • 1 tbsp ground coriander • 1–2 tsp chili crunch oil (adjust to taste) • 1 tbsp white vinegar • Toasted white sesame seeds, for garnish ⸻ Instructions 1. Marinate the beef In a bowl, combine the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and minced garlic. Mix well and marinate for 10–15 minutes. Set aside. 2. Prepare the cucumbers Cut the cucumber into long, thin strips. Sprinkle lightly with salt, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes. Drain and gently squeeze out excess liquid. Discard the liquid. 3. Prepare the vegetables Thinly slice the bell pepper and red onion. Chop the cilantro and green onions. Mince the remaining garlic. 4. Assemble the salad base In a large bowl, combine: • Cucumbers • Bell pepper • Red onion • Cilantro • Green onions Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, minced garlic, ground coriander, chili crunch oil, white vinegar, and salt to taste. Toss well. 5. Cook the beef Heat avocado or vegetable oil in a pan over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 2–3 minutes, until golden brown and just cooked through. 6. Combine & serve Pour the hot beef (with oil) over the salad. Mix well so the heat releases the garlic aroma. Garnish with toasted white sesame seeds. Serve immediately or slightly chilled.
