Crowds at theme parks are just as big or bigger than they are in the queue. Also, the RAP queues in the past few seasons have been longer than the main queue.

So some neurodivergent “can” and some “can’t” queue - but ALL who can’t stand - or need urgent access SO need the pass. You can always chose not to go to the park and those who really ALL need access can now enjoy it with less queuing.

So their way of fixing this is by, sticking people who get overwhelmed by queues and crowds, into queues and crowds. Great logic 🙄 wait for all the meltdowns to come and for everyone to just judge them for trying to enjoy themselves by going on a ride.

its not even about the crowds for me. its about being trapped, not being able to leave without having to say excuse me etc, being smell I can smell EVERYTHING it causes me physical pain makes me so so stressed and physically unwell. Im stressed

i physically can not que.. for one i have autism, i struggle with queuing and crowds, i would have a panic attacks and be unable to actually ride the rides. i used to pass so i was able to enjoy my day without spending hours panicking and overwhelmed in a que, we would still que online and takes breaks so other could have turns, but i am no longer going to be able to ride rides..

People who have the RAP get to go on more rides than those who don’t & this is coming from someone who uses the RAP. Nobody wants to spend their day in a queue and Merlin need to figure it out how to be fair to everyone

the issue is with everyone identifying as autistic or ADHD this jas caused a huge negative effect essentially makeing something that should help disabled people with long waits not at all effective. I work for a housing association and when booking for repairs or anything suddenly there child has ADHD with autism.

Could be because so many people are using it now and taking the mick with it making it pointless so they need to lessen the queues. People who can actually physically queue will be the 1st to go. If its really that traumatic then perhaps busy loud places are not the places to be visiting

I think people dont think about PTSD with this because i have PTSD and have to have a clear exit and have flashbacks waiting in queues

merlin have clearly stated this is only for February and there trialing there new system plus it's nothing to do with merlin it's all down to nimbus which are the people that give you the card. The only thing merlin has now done is changed the system from paper to an app and made a app to book for more easier access

I have AuDHD, but have been told by people on here that I shouldn't be allowed to use this pass. I don't need the pass because of my AuDHD, but because I have ME/CFS and arthritis. I'm in a wheelchair too. But apparently I'm also entitled for asking for this.

I'm autistic and I do find it difficult to stand in a long queue it can get overwhelming for me and I have no way of getting out when I feel uncomfortable about it and that pass was my only way of making things better.
