playing Devils advocate - arctic doesn't mention this trick in their otherwise great installatsion instructions so the only conclusion would be that the tolerances Are too great If the block cannot be installed correctly onto the brackets 😁

Used this vid when installing it and i smeared the thermal paste on the CPU😭 was too lazy to fix it so i just put it on anyway. Same idle temps as my air cooler so i def messed it up but its still in safe temp range
