I live in the San Francisco Bay area and the East Bay and during the '80s Jose canseco Mark McGwire and a lot of the A's went to my health club in San Ramon California Jose canseco was the nicest person he was never stuck up he was kind to everyone he wanted to play volleyball with whoever would play he just was a really nice person and I'll never forget that a lot of the other players were not friendly and stuck up and Jose canseco at the time was a huge star but you would never know it because he was just the nicest guy and talk to everybody at the gym just like it was just a nice guy nicer than Mark McGwire was more standoffish but Jose and his brother were really nice to everyone
