Mix milk, sugar, yeast, and egg. 2. Add flour + salt → form dough. 3. Knead 5 mins, add butter → knead 8–10 mins until smooth, elastic, slightly tacky. 4. Cover → rise 45–60 mins until doubled. 5. Grease a square pan. 6. Divide dough into 9 equal portions , shape into tight balls, and arrange in pan. 7. Cover → rise 30–40 mins until puffy and touching. 8. Bake at 150°C for 18–22 mins until lightly golden. 9. Brush hot buns with butter or milk, cover 10 mins → ultra soft, pull-apart buns.
