I enjoy you take on this. I’ll put it like this the courses appear to be a cheap entry point to knowledge. Not everyone is committed to enrolling in school to become a professional. Human nature looks for the perceived easy route to wealth. Course sellers pray on this. Maybe in not ethical but it’s simple supply and demand. I’m not upset with course sellers that’s capitalism. But it’s all gambling and gambling is addictive. Unfortunately, most people don’t have the ability to trade with intention, rules, structure, and flat emotions. Also, most people will never develop the technical know how. It is what it is. Unfortunately, most people are gonna get wrecked. Life is not fair, nor will it ever be.

I don't buy the "doctors and lawyers don't sell courses so courses aren't trustworthy" thing. Software Engineers and Programmers, for example, have given people knowledge and access. I've seen it first hand. A friend took a programming course and went from earning nothing to a very high earning job in a space of 3 years. Yes, there are traditional industries where gatekeeping is important but we can't act like people can't learn online.

Years ago I took a free course by Phil Town and it helped me with the fundamentals of trading. Not once did they talk about day trading. I think he still offers it. It helped me with basic trading and how to research stock.
