@cheyjjs: feeding turtles at Salaam Cave🥺 my top tips: • don’t book online/with a tour guide: you can just go and pay at the cave entry - it’s cheaper and you have more flexibility • go early (it opens at 7am) - after 9:30am it gets pretty packed which can be overwhelming (for the turtles too) • wear bright colours that reflect off the light.. their food is green, if you wear green/brown etc they will bite because you’ll look like food • remember not to wear any body oils/sun cream - the turtles live here and I hate to see the water getting contaminated by careless people • stay calm - remember you are going into their space, don’t push or shove them in panic (saw too many people do this 🥲) Other than that just enjoy it’s really a beautiful experience🤍 #salaamcave #turtles #feedingturtles #traveltok
