@crimevineofficial: When 19-year-old Lea Porter vanished, her family launched a desperate search - but what began as a missing person case soon revealed a far more sinister truth. ABOUT THE CASE: In June 2014, Lea Porter of Cotopaxi, Colorado, disappeared without a trace. Calls went unanswered, texts went to voicemail, and panic set in almost immediately. Her disappearance sparked a massive police investigation and an emotional grassroots search led by her brother, Maxx, which quickly drew media attention. As detectives and Lea’s family pursued every lead, their attention turned to a person who had been with her just before she went missing. Digging deeper, investigators uncovered shocking evidence, including her abandoned car and traces of her blood. Yet with Lea still missing, the case stalled - until Maxx took matters into his own hands, secretly recording a conversation that revealed his sister had been brutally murdered and brought him face-to-face with her killer.
