the actor for benedict actually speaks fluent french irl lol. also sophie is deffo so charming and likeable shes lowkey too good for him. the book is even crazier cuz he asks her to be his mistress way earlier, she says no and then he blackmails her into returning to london to work at his mums house, with the threat of getting her arrested is she disobeys him 💀

I knew from the trailer tha it was a load of barnacles when the trailer was describing a Cinderella story. After seeing the trailer, I had to calculate how much tv time I had in a week and opted out because it seems like Shonda is “trying” now.

I used to but I feel like they're doing a really really bad job of fleshing out the men of seasons post Anthony? Idk wtf is going on!! As Benedict's actor is so so charming and charismatic on screen but the producers refusal to give a man any storyline except: 'I'm a rake but im sad because no one will love poor rich me because im rich and no one cares who i truly am' 😭 it's so boring and gives self absorbed and typically with a hint of misogyny to it! Let's find another storyline for the men of Bridgeton please!! Develop them in other waysss otherwise it's just going to keep being really interesting fleshed out female mc and super boring man who doesn't really deserve her which is currently how I'm feeling about Benedict which is so sad because I was most excited about his season! As his scenes in the first 2 seasons were always so fun and interesting to watch! Granted his slutty behaviour was dragged out last season but I was hoping all of that dragging would become character build up in hindsight once we got his fully fleshed out season and character arc. Problem is he still feels like he's as fleshed out as a secondary character in the show! Like why does his mum have more character development than him? It's just such a shame, I think the storyline this season has been structured much better than last, but they're still failing miserably to flesh out their male mc's
