I can honestly say I’m with the person I’m meant to be with - we met before I was even thinking about marriage - but we don’t have kids yet. I’m 30. Sometimes we can’t help the cards we’re dealt with, and we agree we’d rather bring them into an environment where we’re mentally and financially stable than rush to meet arbitrary deadlines.

my question is how are they either such a good actor or finding people who wanna be settled for? cuz I def see couples in the grocery store who interact like they've never met, but when I have a guy I'm dating and like we're best friends and just, theres no romance no matter how hard we try, I'm like "yeah this is good, some people dont even get this" ans theyre like "no, I'm leaving, I want romantic love, im not marrying for platonic love" so like, settling doesn't even work

my experience, for everyone who is going to come at me. but my friends are allllll settling. they look happy on IG, with their perfect wedding photos and pregnancy announcements.....and then i get them alone at dinner and they tell me they hate their lives and wish they were single.
