I know it’s a skit- but seeing the way Shawna and John speak to and treat Piper, Max- and even the other “kids”- on top of seeing how John’s mom speaks to her ADULT son and DIL -makes my heart hurt SO much— I’m going to be 42 in April- and to this day- my mother has NEVER spoken to me with kindness compassion & understanding. I would love to know what it feels like to have a parent be a best friend …
