Auto stop start is better than idling your engine perpetually. Better off having the starter take the abuse than the engine heat soaking

I've got 2026 Chevy Colorado I shut mine completely off by going into my security settings in my onboard computer near the touch screen that you have for your computer access go to settings then security settings and you can deactivate that auto start stop haven't had to push that button at all since I bought the vehicle took me 3 minutes
