And every police department that has followed this woke narrative instead of standing their ground has only done so to gain favoritism that was never going to benefit them. The leadership in those departments & political leadership are responsible.

and what's their (cops) option? their boss (the mayor) is on the side of coddling criminals and AUTOMATICALLY declaring blame on law enforcement when it's a law enforcement v citizen issue. That police dept is already understaffed, guessing from the "defund the police" movement, and nobody wants to be an officer there when the mayor will automatically condemn law enforcement
