If you dont receive your product, shouldn't that immediately negate their TOS regarding refunds? Youve agreed to their TOS in the context of receiving your commission. this could be considered a scam, yes?

It's really upsetting to hear this. But did you make the payment through PayPal? I remember PayPal customer service saying that once the transaction number is approved, they'll lock the account.🥰I don't know if this will be helpful, since online transactions are indeed quite difficult.

Dude…I’m so sorry that you’re having to deal with this. I get how frustrating it feels and it really bugs me how people can do things like this and walk away with thousands of dollars and zero guilt for the people they cheated out. I hope some good news comes your way and you can either get the suit or get your money back. 💙

I do not understand why this is normal in the fandom! I recently started taking fursuit making seriously and I complete fursuits in 2 weeks or less and if it’s your full time job just work longer hours and don’t lie about time frames ?? Like??

so imma say there is two possibilities to what has happened, one is that they could have gone to the hospital without telling anyone and has had no ability to contact people or two they're just gone bc suit makers constantly post on socials about what they're currently working on 🦣

I've been having very similar problems with a maker that I got to do my custom suit partial and I didn't hear anything for awhile and then after very few DMS they said they started on it but didn't and now finally after almost a year they are almost finished and now I'm waiting on it to ship so I understand how frustrating that is and scary when you pay so much

I can relate to this. I commissioned a full fursuit from a maker in France. I won't say his name here but it was my first commission and it's been a really bad experience. so I paid for the suit. and there was only two in front of me so thought great. the maker was going to start in July last year, after loads of delays and excuses which is alot. he started on it in October. then he charged me more saying he needed more fur than he thought he would of needed. very frustrating but I paid. Christmas I finally received my full fursuit and I've never been so upset as it didn't fit at all, the quality was so bad. there was different lengths of fur on the main suit, didn't fit, the feet looked like elephant feet, there was holes in the head where it was poorly crafted. it's a shame people do this lucky for me a very good friend is helping me make my suit.
