boil the water. salt the water. put CLEAN rice into water. Bring heat down to simmer. DONT TOUCH RICE & let it cook. Dassit dassall!

Wash it until the water runs clear and then cover with water to about an inch above the rice. Bring it to the boil and stick a lid on it. DO NOT stir it. Once it's boiling, turn the heat down to low and cook for 12-15 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and leave it for 10 minutes to steam. DO NOT take off the lid until the 10 minutes is up. Perfect rice.
