@crmnallyobsessed: Jamie Grissim was a 16-year-old high school student who disappeared on December 7, 1971, in Clark County, Washington. Grissim told her family she was walking home from school and would return early that afternoon, but she never arrived. When hours passed and none of her friends had seen her, her family knew something was wrong. Six months later, her wallet was found near a road in the rural Dole Valley area. Detectives with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office believe Jamie Grissim was likely the first victim of serial killer Warren Forrest. Investigators say Grissim and Forrest lived in the same neighborhood at the time, placing him in close proximity to her before she vanished. Forrest has since admitted to beginning his criminal offenses as early as 1969 and to killing people in many different areas. While he has never formally confessed to Grissim’s murder, law enforcement suspects her disappearance is connected to him based on timing, location, and similarities to his later confirmed crimes. Recent tips have renewed the investigation, prompting plans to search the Dole Valley area again in early 2026 for Grissim’s remains. For her sister, these developments have brought renewed hope that answers may finally be found. #truecrime #jamiegrissim
