All I have to say is i'm only 4 years out of school and I COULD NOT imagine acting like an educator. I will guide if someone has questions but that is WILD. I was part of the crossover Barber program for Paul Mitchell. Most of the cosmetology class was mean girl pick me. We were basically outcasts there. Love the educators for the Barber side but still.

Paul Mitchell almost made me quit because of how toxic and disorganized it was. Students fending for themselves and “self instructing”. Actual instructors not giving a damn. And completely understaffed while trying to create more space to enroll more students (that they don’t actually have the room for).

PM despite their “Be nice or else” culture is horrifically toxic as a 18-25 year old. As an older future professional (46) with 30 days remaining, I can say that the education has been what I have made of it, not what the school has had to offer. 😞
