yeah the municipality didnt throw the rubbish there. its the individuals who live there. i used to work for this municipality. you can place skip bins there for garbage, put wheelie bins in everyones yard and they will still throw their rubbish next to it. this is NOT on the municipality.

i must say this is not municipality problem .... i stay 1 street away from the informal settlement damm most of the people they know my name they will say hello and if they dont know my name im called squeeza ... 2 weeks ago i laid a complaint people in a car stopped on my front lawn walked to my wall ( i have camera footage of this all ) pulled down their pants and come to shit infront of my house . I would like to invite you in vredendal our municipality is the second best in the western cape but they are the most incompetent when it comes to service delivery. We have 4 mines who are operating in our area but we are the most underdeveloped area, We have wrote them letter to express our grievances but our cries were met with deaf ear. Additional we heard an incident between 2016 and 2017 were a child drowned and died in sewerage dam, The municipality came in our community and they made promise they will build a pool to honor that child and 4 million rands was raised but up until to date we don't know what happened to the money that supposed to build the pool. Our people are struggling under the D.A Municipality because they have this mandate of privatizing everything because they don't want out people to have access in those areas.
