@unhingedwildlife: Crazy, but all true! Believe it or not, there is a parasitic louse that eats the tongue of an unfortunate fish, then takes said tongue’s place in the fish’s mouth! The axolotl has such extraordinary regenerative abilities that it can regrow its own heart and brain. And pet owners have to be very wary of the giant coconut crab. Our natural world is beautiful yes, but also full of things that make you think “that can’t possibly be true”. And yet, it’s real and it’s awesome 🤯 My name’s Vic, and I’ve always been fascinated by both the animal kingdom and the truly bizarre side of our planet. I grew up loving nature documentaries, catching a glimpse into this exciting world and learning new things about the wonders of wildlife. And I loved sharing those stories with others. So now, I want to share them with you! Come with me and we’ll delve into the natural world together - the unbelievable, the untamed and the downright unhinged. Follow me for daily content, let me know if there’s an animal you’d love me to cover, and be sure to share these incredible facts with friends too, even if you just want to weird them out! #AnimalFacts #weirdfacts #DidYouKnow #interestingfacts #crazyfacts
