The real question here is why is $1.25 theft classified as a felony? But paying a congressman to make a law in your favor is absolutely legal.

If we can eliminate the theft, fraud, waste and abuse in the American tax system. Maybe we could use our taxes to pay for the roads instead of having toll roads.
