they don't remove anything with prk. it takes longer to heal but its the safest option. I had it done in 2016 and my vision is still 20/20

I did this surgery yesterday. Now i see everything perfectly but my doctor told me 2 days are enough for contact lenses. Means tomorrow im going to remove.

Almost not quite they don’t cut the lens off. They grind the lens off and they do not put a soft contact on afterwards that would prohibit healing.

I had this done back in 09. The recovery was kind of difficult but it wasn't that bad. It took about a month to fully recover but my vision has been amazing ever since. Well worth it!

From personal experience at BRK, I had my vision corrected in 2017 at the most prestigious clinic in the UAE with Spanish doctors, and after two years I started having problems with my corneal astigmatism and my vision deteriorating to -1.50
