Meniscus tear isn’t an urgent surgery- some wait months and do rehab first and don’t need surgery. Sometimes freaking out isn’t the answer- ur young and will be fine

If her knee is locked from the meniscus or ACL tearing to the point she can’t move her knee it is an urgent surgery to keep the blood supply viable and repair it. It’s not emergency ER stat surgery that night but within the week ideally. I hope you’re recovering well olas ✨

I had this and instead of helping they called me a drug seeker and took me 2 years and a different city for someone to MRI me and rush me into surgery. Doctors are not what they used to be

Ugh, my son had the same exact injury and had a meniscal repair as well. It was such hell! I can't imagine how hard this was for you going back and forth to find care. Good vibes for fast healing!
