@blakebennett110: 🚨 FOLLOW-UP STATEMENT 🚨 From the Body Cam of Sgt. Bennett In reference to yesterday’s porch inspection, body cam footage has now been reviewed. Findings include: • A suspicious flamingo was located and monitored. • A flower garden unexpectedly entered the investigation. • I can confirm there was, in fact, “a garden gnome where it shouldn’t be.” Medical update for the record: • The leg is in fact not broken. • The pride absolutely is. • Sgt. Bennett is back at work with no light duty—the Chief laughed and said no. At no point did the flamingo flee the scene. The garden gnome remains at large. The flower bed was uncooperative. The “Rapid Tactical Descent” was followed by an immediate landscaping assessment and a verbal report. I stand by my actions. I do not stand by that porch. Thank you to the citizens of Monterey for the concern, support, and entertainment. — Sgt. Bennett Monterey Police Department 🚓🦩🌸 #ibrokemyleg #copsoftiktok #cops #funny
