@lanes.avenue: My daughter chose the design for these nightstands—Iron Ore by Sherwin-Williams on the body with light, natural wood tops and bases. After stripping, I applied a light tan paint wash, sealed everything with a matte polyurethane, painted the bases Iron Ore, and finished with new brass hardware.
