how does scientist know they lay eggs? what if just what if they birth live babies instantly not eggs. like i know that eels are probably part of the animal kingdom that lays eggs. but stuff like that isn't really a rule, look at platypus, they lay eggs as a mammal. so they're probably just an abnormality and they don't need to lay eggs.
