My local one is the same, the amount of drinks and snacks I’ve had to tell them are MONTHS out of date. Would go in the next day and they would be at the till cheaper

this is so weird but i recognised you as my local! for any extra close out of date stock there is a food bank/kitchen drop in that is always happy to take anything off your hands! it's near the one that starts with an M!

They puddings are abso tidy, I love the strawberry jelly one with cream, my corner shop has out date, had to pull him other day..BUT he does take off and do what you do👌🏻🥰

I work in a corner shop and bake cookies and pastries everyday. Anything left over at the end of the day gets either givin away or sold for very cheap xx

I spent a whole day the other week checking every single thing in the shop. I have a list of every thing that has a best before for Feb and March and the exact date it goes out. Then I’ll do the same 1st April. Makes it easier but like you said we do sometimes miss stuff out, we’re only human
