The worst part about this entire plot is that they’re both so valid. Charlottes terrified of being alone if George dies and Agatha wants to be free to do something she’s likely wanted to do for decades. It’s such a difficult position.

Everyone calling her selfish didn’t understand her or the show. She wore armour to protect herself , her younger character was a lot different but she went through alot alone and married to George so it made her tough , she grew very attached to lady Danbury as she was the only constant and peace she had . She apologised and eventually let her go but she spent her life watching the love of her life deteriorate and leave her piece by piece. She didn’t want last Danbury to go because she was her constant, she’s a very misunderstood person.
