We change the curtains if the patient is in isolation and we change them out every few months. Those curtains would be insane for microbiology. They need to be swabbed so i can see what the agar plate looks like😅

Nope my hospital never cleans them and I only recently came to that realization after being there almost 4 years 😅

The only department in my hospital that has curtains is surgery and our CVR, I had no idea those things came off 🤣🤣🤣
