When you get to this level of horsepower, you’re not on the dyno just to get a horsepower number. They know what that engine makes. They’re making changes or trying to verify something is working or not working. They already know it’s a 2000+ horsepower engine. They’re not gonna waste any of that engine‘s life just pulling up on a dyno to see how much power it makes. Plus with a hub dyno and the rear shaft pulled, they’re taking all of the variables out on purpose.
