Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: Around 12:59 a.m. on July 13, 2022, Officer Heidi Lambley of the Pullman Police Department turned onto Northwood Drive from 1590 NE Northwood Drive. She spotted a silver 2009 Honda CR-V heading south in the oncoming lane. The car passed by. Then the driver swerved to the road's edge without signaling and stopped. Four people jumped out and started walking away. A small woman got out from the driver's seat. Officers later ID'd her as 20-year-old Alexia Bramblett. Officer Lambley approached Alexia. She asked why they parked there. Alexia said they were going to a friend's house. They often parked in that spot. It struck Lambley as odd. So she launched a DUI check. Alexia admitted she'd drunk alcohol that night. Lambley smelled booze on her breath. Suspecting she was impaired, Lambley waited for backup. Then she had Alexia do field sobriety tests. Lambley began with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. She saw no smooth eye pursuit. There was clear, ongoing jerking at the edge. It started before 45 degrees. Alexia skipped the other tests. She also said no to a preliminary breath test. The signs of impairment added up. Plus the alcohol smell and her own words about drinking. Her weak test performance sealed it. Lambley arrested Alexia for DUI. She cuffed her and took her to the Pullman Police Department. There, after chatting with a lawyer, Alexia gave breath samples. The first showed 0.153 initial and 0.164 final BAC. The second hit 0.142 initial and 0.152 final. Both nearly twice the 0.08 limit for those over 21. After time in a cell, Officer Joseph Geil fingerprinted and snapped photos of Alexia. He charged her under RCW 46.61.502 for DUI. Geil handed back her stuff. He told her the charges.
