@thepuppyacademy: Most puppies won’t “tell” you when they need to go outside to potty. With some there will be certain signs you pick up on that signal to you that they need to go — like, going to the back door, circling quickly, scratching at their crate door, etc. Keeping on a crate schedule while your puppy is super helpful not just because you’ll have designated times to take your puppy out, but it teaches them how to “hold it” for longer as they grow — and that is the key for successfully potty trained puppy!
