Worth It? 👀🇳🇬 ₦5,000 (US$3) Nigerian Street Food in Lagos. I stopped at a busy roadside food stall on Allen Avenue in Lagos to see what a ₦5,000 meal gets you in Nigeria. All the food is displayed on the side of the road. They had everything from giant fish to jollof rice, coconut rice, fried chicken and sweet plantains. I skipped the mystery fish 😅 and went for chicken, coconut rice and plantains instead. The verdict? The plantains were delicious, the chicken was a little tough and cold, and the coconut rice tasted a bit fishy for my liking. Considering the price, I’d still give it a 7/10 just because the people were really nice and friendly. One thing to keep in mind: this is real roadside street food. If hygiene is your top priority, this probably isn’t your scene. But if you love experiencing authentic local Nigerian food in Lagos, it’s definitely an interesting stop. ❤️🇳🇬 #nigeria #streefood #lagos
