@taylorcgolden: Interviews don’t feel random. They feel random when you don’t prepare correctly. Most candidates major in the minor. The candidates who get offers master the first 90% of the equation. That’s preparation. Once you prep the right way, interviews stop feeling stressful and start feeling controlled. That’s how you convert interviews into offers. I broke down exactly what to prep in the pinned comment 👇

Here’s exactly what to prep before any interview 👇 • Understand the role Know the responsibilities and what success looks like in that position • Know what they expect from the person in the role Skills, traits, behaviors they’re hiring for • Prep your stories Have real examples that prove you’ve done what the role requires • Study the company What they do, how they make money, and what values or culture they care about • Understand how you align Be able to explain why you fit this company and this team specifically • Research your interviewer Their background, career path, and what they likely care about • Prep behavioral questions Leadership, conflict, failure, ownership, results If you do this, you already know 60–70% of the interview before it starts.
