Joshykins :
This is the least comparable ad I’ve ever seen. For starters, it showed us, the audience who did it, with 100% certainty. Next up, the answers to the manager’s or whoever’s questions are YES (by never giving consent in the first place as the default is “no”), YES as Tanya, the bystander, and presumably cameras saw it happen, and YES she can prove it, so you’re again not representing the standard case. Which is typically a “he said vs she said scenario.” And last, yes people DO make stuff up all the time. Is it statistically MORE likely than a victim giving an honest recollection and accusation? HELL NO. But that doesn’t preclude that people do make 💩 up all the time. Plenty of news stories and articles all over the internet about it. A key difference being that false accusers have zero consequences. None. At all. But the accused are punished EVEN IF they’re vindicated. Loss of jobs, careers, scholarships, friends, family, etc. So we as a society must be exceptionally careful not to go on witch hunts and approach these extremely sensitive issues with both logic and understanding. Not one side or the other. Not just BELIEVE WOMEN… NOR be dismissive of a claim.
