Well, I believe it all starts with you peeking interest, and wanting to join the military. From there it could’ve either been a recruiter met you somewhere was like hey what are you doing with your life right now or you could’ve just said you know what let me throw some years in and serve my country. From there, I believe the recruiter will have you take a test to see where you’re at on your ASVAB. If you did well on your PICA, then you can go ahead go to MEPS. Of course you may have to take your physical and get your oasis from there and then from there they would grant you the opportunity to get an MOS should be qualified and pass your physical medical portion. The counselor there will give you an option. You may have to think about it. Go home maybe 24 48 hours or however, long is gonna take you to select the right MOS of your choice or if you could’ve already have known what you wanted. There may have been that’s awesome sign on bonus, but who knows… And then from there you basically say I do on your contract and then go swear in. You will get a shipment date to basic training complete that after nine weeks and then however long your MOS course is. Welcome to the army and thank you for your service.
