In addition, a revolutionary state is fragile, weak to imperialism/seperatism and often lack legitimacy from the population. Revolutions should only be an option if its literally impossible to entice political change

I hear you but the government has a habit of offing anyone that could build to coalition to reform. MLK was starting to be effective when the government took him out, same goes for Fred Hampton, same for JFK. The people that could lead the reform appear constantly then get taken out.
