So I checked out Nonbiri Cafe. They’re located at the new food hall across from Richmond Center in Richmond. Inspired by calm, Japanese aesthetics, Nonbiri Cafe reminds us to take a gentle pause during our busy daily lives. The space is comforting in the food hall and is a great place to meet with friends, to reconnect and to slow down when needed. Recently, Nonbiri Cafe has gotten super popular due to their matcha and pastries. I took a nice break in their space and got to try the following: - Matcha Latte (Hot) - Hojicha Latte (Iced - RECOMMEND) - Katsu Burger with Nori Fries (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) - Hojicha Blueberry Danish (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) - Matcha Strawberry Parfait My personal favorites were the Hojicha Latte as I am more of a Hojicha person than a Matcha person. The Katsu Burger was AMAZING! The nori fries were so good and the cutlet was very juicy! I also really enjoyed the Hojicha Blueberry Danish as I really liked the Hojicha cream used. Overall, I had such a pleasant stop here. The people who helped me at the front were so friendly, kind and were attentive if I had any questions or needed help. The food was delicious and again, I really recommend that Katsu Burger, it’s underrated in my opinion. Take some time to hang out here, you won’t regret it! Make sure you follow me for more eats and cool things to do. See ya later 🫶🏾 Big thank you to the Nonbiri Cafe team for having me!
