Thank you for being the first person to explain this in detail because I've always wondered. When I filed I did a Single LLC with me acting as the manager and the thought process was what you talked about. I made the right decision 👍🏽. I'm still working on the operating agreement and books of organization.

Does this mean that then in a manager member LLC , one of the owners could be the manager and then receive a salary? And if so, would a regular payroll and taxes need withheld or could it be 1099?
