Guys Paulo Szot is an extraordinary actor and singer. He is literally just changing the rhythm. He’s still in time, it’s just different rhythm. It’s not that hard to grasp

to everyone saying “this hades can’t sing this part, he’s off beat.” or whatever orpheus literally sings “they can’t find the tune. they can’t feel the rhythm. king hades is deafened…” like it’s definitely a good actors choice by paulo. maybe not a great vocalist choice lol.i don’t personally LOVE the choice but can appreciate it and it DOES make sense. i just wish it was written to sound better lol

i love this entire cast so much… but hades actor is just lacking compared to the other characters, its such a hard vocal part and he just doesnt meet it, half the time hes flat or just doesnt actually sing, instead acting…

Have y’all considered that perhaps the point is that Hades is somewhat out of beat because he literally cannot hear the song of his love enough to sing it anymore?

Yall haven’t read the lyrics to the first chant song “They can’t find the tune, They can’t feel the rhythm” which is LITERALLY THE POINT WHY HADES AND PERSEPHONE SING IN THEIR OWN BEAT, YALL are like not noticing the obvious

It’s shows that yall have only ever listened to soundtracks or done HS productions because he is clearly going with the band, the band is just playing it differently. Probably a directors choice.

I love this Hades, such a new and fresh character choice. Very brave move for the actor, really shows the way Hades is deaf to how lost he is and is demanding attention by stealing the song and making it his.

high-key, I think hades being off beat works, he's going against the beat of the world which causes the world to be out of tune

Anybody saying that’s off beat can’t hear. It’s just a different rhythm.

I saw Paulo live. These videos do NOT do him justice, it's NOTHING like seeing him in person. He owns that stage and you Feel It. (((Also during Chant he said "mi amor" once instead of lover to Persephone and my heart skipped it was very attractive LMFAO)))
