Girl, this. I’m a doctor and a healer and a mother. And once I realized that I have the power to create life, to grow organs and bones and be a spiritual portal for new life, I realized I was more than even a doctor, I was a healer, I use my intuition (and my knowledge) but I heal with my hands and my instincts and my energy and no way in HELL I am letting any man or any silly God created by man take away my power. I feel this so much. The Catholic Church said the brutal things done to me were my fault. Paganism said here is love and acceptance and how to reclaim my sense of self. One tears down, the other builds up. It's not a hard choice which to pursue.
