Most machines do a quick self test when you select a cycle so you might get cold water for a second then it should go to hot for the rest of the cycle

All washers rinse with cold water not hot water. Flip your lines and I bet your washer is going to finish with hot water.

Thats normal operation. The valves have thermostat to monitor incoming water temp. It will maintain eco temp algorithms you cannot change to be energy efficient certified. The best thing to do is stop opening the lid and interrupting its cycle and let it do its thing.

You for real. Turn the hot water on at your sink. It takes a little to get hot unless you have tankless water heater. Nothing to do with the machine

I know you said that you have the connections set up correctly. Can you test it out and place it on strictly cold water? What comes out? I’m asking because what if they accidentally attached the solenoid wires on opposite sides?

How long does it take for your shower to get hot water? That's why I run the hot water on my sink till its hot before I start my dishwasher. We was all our clothes on cold.

yeah mine comes out hot cold hot cold even on hot setting. warm setting is hot cold hot cold too. when I want all hot I shut the cold completely off on the spigot.
