@nathanialpov: I feel sometimes these videos don’t really convey how sacred of an experience it is for me in putting these situations together to improvise. I like what this kind of video is able to communicate but I feel like it does the actual spirit of the music a disservice. Social media has a way of diluting energy by throwing it up against the rest of the chaos online. When isolated, the experience is so different than in these videos. When I play, I follow the path in my head for a straight hour until it’s empty. I strive for a higher level of expression that doesn’t have to do with this app. #sax #saxophone
