@theveterandogtrainer: Part 1 Cyrus owners reached back out to me due to Cyrus & Bella getting into a fight that resulted in both Bella and her owner having to visit the emergency room. We immediately begin to discuss Cyrus body language cues & what they mean, as well as diagnose the root issues of her behavior. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for part 2! #DogTraining #dogtrainer #dogs #dog #dogsoftiktok
So the shaking: do dogs just shake off to shake off or is this always a red flag? My dog does this on walks randomly sometimes when we “leave it” when a dog is across the street, sometimes she just does it. Curious if I should be doing something to correct or allow when she starts shaking off during walks or in public. Background, she’s not aggressive. She flips on her back and pees when anyone raises their voice too much 😅

When I was younger my parents had a Doberman & a cocker spaniel . Both were great dogs until food was in the mix. My parents would put a muzzle on the Doberman when they were at work. One day my sister & I were making food and she accidentally tripped over the spaniel & it made her attack. She started attacking the Doberman & got her muzzle off . My sister tried to separate them and got bit. A chunk of her wrist was gone. & we ran out the house screaming. My neighbors dad went and broke them up. My parents were going to take the spaniel to the vet the next morning because she had some injuries and as we were leaving she passed 🥺 there was a pen sized hole in her neck and internal bleeding. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen

I understand what causes it. But isnt the shake an indicator of “releasing” the stress. I read it as a good thing to shake and “let it go” i find after the “shake” (and of course other input from the handler) the dog is typically less tense. This is just my experience, yours could differ. I love watching your business progress and your knowledge grow. Ive been following you for awhile. I dont watch these for personal advice, just to enjoy watching someone succeed at what they are doing. Keep up the great work.

Ma I’m so glad they reached back out to you, never a time to put up with this kind of behavior, but especially with a baby on the way, recipe for absolute disaster.
