Growing up, my mom would make a version of this beauty tea every week (and she still makes it now!) and her version includes snow mushroom (great source of vegan collagen) and apple pears 🍎🍐or Asian pear. I love drinking this tea because the jujubes, goji berries, snow fungus and apple pears are all rich in antioxidants, polyphenols, and minerals that are great for your skin and overall health. Jujubes helps improve digestion and supports immunity, which is why you will see it used so often in Chinese cuisine. Goji berries are full of antioxidants to boost immunity and reduces inflammation. Snow mushroom helps maintain skin elasticity and plumps skin ✨ Don't forget to SAVE this recipe so you can try to make it later! ✨ INGREDIENTS 1 apple pear (feel free to use apple or pear though - personally I prefer asian pears or apple pears) 10 Jujubes 2 tbsp Goji berries 1 snow mushroom Optional: Sweetener of your choice (rock sugar, cane sugar, coconut sugar, maple syrup, etc) ✨ DIRECTIONS 1. Let snow mushroom soak in filtered water for at least 1 hour (it will expand 2-3x its size!) 2. Wash & soak jujubes in a bowl of water with a splash of vinegar 3. Once snow mushroom has expanded, chop into bite size chunks 4. Chop apple pear into bite size pieces 5. Combine everything in a pot with 4 cups of filtered water and boil for 20 minutes 6. Enjoy!
