Imo this is the best type of parenting. My parents would have yelled at me, you’re not doing that, but you’re also not letting her just sit there and not take responsibility. You’re telling her to clean it up but in a gentle tone. This will make the perfect adult. She won’t have trauma from angry parents, but she’ll be responsible and accountable for her actions. Good job mama👍

I used to let mine color on our metal door and fridge with dry erase and rule was could not color on walls or furniture, then I accidentally left a permanent marker out. Needless to say our former landlords had a one of a kind and fridge. Thankfully they love my kiddo and the fridge was older.
